As a long time road runner I had become blase about running and racing. However, in 2017 when I met Kim and started running trails - my world changed! Kim introduced Sassquad shortly after and I fell in love with the community and the sport she was instrumental in fostering. Not only does Sassquad have unique races but they are so much fun. The vibe is incredible. When I can't race, I love volunteering. The level of support and kindness along with championing women athletes is unparalleled. Additionally, all the races have a charity componant, giving back to our community which means so much. I could go on forever - when's the next trail party?!
